What you'll find here

When we go away, we often – almost always in fact – stay in self-catering accommodation. A flashy flat in Aberdeen or a basic but lovely base in a back street in Rome; a small place with a tiny balcony in Prague to a town house in Kettering. Sometimes by car, more usually by train.

We know it's helpful to know what to expect when you arrive, so here's our list of what is in South Cottage. The kitchen is equipped for those who find cooking enjoyable when on holiday. Ask to borrow recipe books if you want to experiment.

It's fine to arrange grocery deliveries - we use Sainsbury's regularly both at home and when on holiday. Their vans know how to find this rather out of the way place! Other deliverers may too; we don't know.

If any of your group have an allergy to feathers, please let us know on booking (we have synthetics if preferred).

Bedding: sheets, pillows and cases, duvets and covers

A bath towel for each person; hand towel in each loo and in the kitchen with a tea towel. Please bring your own beach towels for use outside the cottage.
